Zachary joined Key Murray Law as an associate in our Summerside office after completing his summer term and articles with the firm. Zachary has quickly become a valued member of the team, developing a broad practice and working closely with colleagues to deliver practical, client-focused solutions.
Zachary earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Prince Edward Island before obtaining his law degree from Dalhousie University. While his academic path initially pointed toward a career in healthcare, an introductory law course sparked his interest in the field. He was drawn to the problem-solving nature of legal work and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients.
Zachary is building a general practice and enjoys the variety that comes with working across multiple areas of law. He is particularly motivated by the opportunity to help clients navigate complex or unfamiliar situations and approaches his work with a strong commitment to diligence, accessibility, and continuous learning.
Born and raised on Prince Edward Island, Zachary values the Island’s close-knit community and strives to be a trusted advisor for his clients. He is committed to providing approachable, practical legal guidance and takes pride in helping individuals find clarity and direction when facing legal challenges.
Zachary is actively involved in the community and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Hospice PEI. He has also contributed to charitable initiatives, including co-organizing an annual law school hockey game in support of Special Olympics.
Outside of the office, Zachary enjoys staying active, particularly through hockey, where he continues to be involved as a referee with the Greater Charlottetown Minor Hockey Association. He also enjoys golfing, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
