Derek I. Bondt

As a partner with the firm, Derek practices primarily in the Summerside office of Key Murray Law and also meets with clients at the firm’s office in Charlottetown. From his time as a summer student and article clerk with Key Murray Law, Derek gained valuable experience prior to joining the firm as an associate. He has appeared at all levels of court in Prince Edward Island, and is able to quickly identify client legal issues and devise practical solutions.

Derek graduated from the University of Ottawa’s Canadian Law Program with both J.D. and LL.L. degrees and is fluent in both French and English.

An active member in his Island community, Derek currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Summerside, the Boys and Girls Club Foundation of Summerside, the Prince County Hospital Foundation and the Community Foundation.

Derek enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys.
